In 924AD Alfred the Great's grandson, Athelstan, became the first King of England.
He was the first to unite the Anglo-Saxons and had an incredibly special relationship with the historic town of Malmesbury, in North Wiltshire. So much so that he was buried in Malmesbury Abbey.
To celebrate 1100 years since his reign, Malmesbury celebrated with an exciting festival of events throughout July 2024
You can now choose your piece and then select your own glaze from the options below
