About Inner Strength Pottery
Inner Strength Pottery came to life in 2019 when I decided I needed a crafty hobby and a way to escape the stresses of everyday life. Little did I know then that it would literally change EVERYTHING.
I am thankful every day.
As if working in a Government job on Brexit since 2017 wasn’t stressful enough, along came the Coronavirus which added unprecedented pressure onto the world, it’s leaders and it’s people.
Home became the office for my husband and I. We’d only been married for 2 months before lock-down and
I hadn’t expected marriage to mean we’d be living in each others space 24/7/365 for the next 18 months.
I love my husband, don’t get me wrong, but I did enjoy a bit of ‘me time' when he went out with the lads.
So, I kicked Dad out of his shed, bought a pottery wheel and some mud and set up my little studio.
The rest, they say, is history.
My Rock. Isn't he lovely?

Me and my Wheel
I'm passionate about pottery and love to be creative but much more importantly, I love to share my passion with other people. But - making pots is just part of it.

Wheel Throwing has so many more benefits than just having a pot to put your used tea-bags in.
It's therapeutic, relaxing, relieves stress and is great for improving ones mental health.
No matter how stressed you are when you begin to throw you soon find that your body has slowed down, your mind has settled and you've let go of all those things that were making too much noise.

and that's what I want for my students too
So, why not give it a go. Head over to the 'Workshops' and get yourself booked in.

Testimonials
I'm so very lucky to have met some wonderful people since opening the classroom doors.
Everyone seems to have a great time learning and they are really proud of the results, as am I.
This is just a small example of the feedback I've received. There's more on TripAdvisor and Google.
